Stretching and Flexibility .

Maybe this is more than what you have in mind, but it is one of the areas of care I specialize in.

No matter what your fitness goals are I can help.

Flexibility is something that helps everyone whether you consider yourself a professional athlete or a professional weekend warrior. Stretching is how you improve flexibility. Flexibility is a journey rather than a destination and requires proper stretching to keep you on the right path.

No matter what your age or activity level you can improve your overall health simply by loosening up your muscles.

If you think about it we are born that way.

Have you ever seen a small child contort themselves into some awkward position and wonder how they can do that without hurting themselves?

I practice two different techniques called Active Isolated Stretching and Resistance Stretching which is is unlike the traditional static stretching you are used to. AIS involves holding the stretch for a very short period of time and resistance stretching takes flexibility to the next level by adding strength achieved through resistance during the stretch. Depending on your flexibility goals and activity level I can custom design a flexibility improvement plan for you.

Your goal may not be to become a slinky, but you'll be amazed at how much better you will feel simply by improving your flexibility.
